Fanes–Sennes–Prags Nature Park

The Fanes-Sennes-Prags nature park is one of the real jewels of the Dolomites. Its value pays testimony to it being recognised as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site in 2009. It consists of extraordinary territory with a variety of different landscapes and is geologically rich in flora and fauna. Here nature dominates the landscape: meadows and pastures interact with forests and crystal clear lakes under the watchful eyes of the majestic Dolomite mountains.

A real paradise where you can challenge yourself in any type of sporty activity. Hikes, fixed-aid climbs, climbing and mountain biking in summer, ski touring, snow shoe hiking and sledging in winter.

At the access park in Pederü, there's a village at the end of Val di Tamersc which you can reach be car or by taking the bus which stops close to our residence. Here you can reach cosy huts at alpe di Sennes or at Munt di Fanes.

We can highly recommend the hike to Sas dla Porta (Croda del Beco) with a breath-taking view of the Prags lake, the mountain bike tour from Pederü to San Cassiano returning by bus, or the ski tour which takes you to Ciaval sul Sas dla Crusc.
